Probus Golf Match at Shipton 21.7.16

We chose the right day for the weather, which was beautiful, but we would have struggled if we had played 18 holes instead of 9 We had an excellent game and by a by a massive coincidence we all tied for first prize. We were each awarded a small bottle of ‘red’, presented by our Chairman, Brian, who came prepared obviously anticipating the outcome.

We then retired to The Craven Arms at Brockhampton, to review the game and congratulate each other over lunch.

The feeling was that everyone enjoyed the company as much as the golf and a good day was had by all.
